November 24, 2018 - Marsh Scores 2nd Place Finish in Rescheduled Cotton Pickin' 100; Mother Natures Cancels Possum Town Grand Prix
Bryant Marsh had to wait almost two months to get back to business in the rain-delayed Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100 Crate Late Model finale. However, when action resumed on Thursday night Marsh mounted a great charge to a runner-up finish in his Modern Woodmen #1 XR1 Rocket Chassis / Eagle Racing Engine Late Model.

“Man we’ve come so far with our program in the past few months,” the 18-year-old Marsh said. “We were starting to figure things out back in September when this race was originally scheduled, and we’ve been ramping up ever since.”

After starting 13th on the grid back on September 22, Marsh was up to the 11th spot, when rain halted the event on lap 13 of the 50 lapper. When the action resumed on Thursday evening Marsh immediately began marching forward. He clawed his way forward in the field before ultimately scoring a runner-up finish behind race winner Hunter Lewis. Chad Thrash, Chase Edge and Peter Hazzard completed the Top-5 finishers.

“We had a great car, but were still just a tick off from where we needed to be to get to Hunter Lewis. He drove a great race, and we were really happy overall. I was most bummed that the Possum Town Grand Prix finale got canceled because we had a great car on Friday night and locked into the feature. I know you can’t control the weather, but man I wanted to run that feature.”

The annual Possum Town Grand Prix headlined the weekend with a $10,000 top prize on the line for the Durrence Layne Dirt Late Model Series. With 54 entries on hand, Bryant raced to a runner-up finish in his heat race to lock into Saturday’s big finale. Unfortunately overnight rain on Friday left the facility with no choice but to cancel the remainder of the event.

The team has now concluded and it’s 2018 season, and is already looking forward to a big 2019.

November 3, 2018 - Marsh Places in Top 5 in Southern 100 at Southern Raceway
1Bryant Marsh continued his late-season momentum over the weekend in his Modern Woodmen #1 XR1 Rocket Chassis/ Eagle Racing Engine Late Model. The 18-year-old Mississippi racer recorded a Top-5 finish in the annual Southern 100 at Southern Raceway.

“We were fast at Talladega Short Track a few weeks ago in national tour action, and then we backed it up with a good run at Southern Raceway this past weekend,” Marsh said. “Honestly, we finally have a Top-3 car again, and with a little more work and tweaking there’s no reason to think that we won’t have a winning car. It’s taken a little time to adapt to this new XR1 Rocket Chassis, but I’m getting comfortable in the driver’s seat. Thanks to everyone who helps me at the track and who sponsors my program.”

Bryant Marsh was one of 26 competitors registered at Southern Raceway (Milton, Florida) on Friday evening for the Durrence Layne Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned, Southern 100.

After laying down the fourth-fastest time in his group, Marsh posted a third-place finish in his heat race, which locked him into the ninth-starting position for Saturday’s $10,000-to-win A-Main.

Breaking into the Top-5, Bryant gained four spots in the 100-lapper to finish fifth behind Jake Knowles, Andy Picklesimer, Joseph Joyner, and Clint Smith.

Bryant sits fifth in the latest series point standings and second in the Cruise with the Champions Rookie of the Year chase. For full results from this event, please visit
